Little Cowgirl

We were at some cowboy store and Gemma came across these beauties. She instantly fell in love with them so of course, my parents got them for her.

They way she walks in them is just the cutest! While Grandpa was out with the horses, Gemma stomped around in the mud and splashed in the trough.

My little cowgirl had a root'n toot'n time that day breaking in her boots.

Mascara

All of a sudden all was quiet and peaceful. Something that never happens unless kids are in bed or................ you guessed it, a certain someone is doing something they're not supposed too. My brother Thomas went into the kitchen to find that dear sweet girl of mine and this is what he found...

What a smart girl, a stinker, but smart to know what to do with mascara. She is definilty watching and learning. I guess I need to be careful with the things I say and do these days. We all just laughed because you can't really punish that can you? I love this little girl but I need two of me just to keep up with her.

A day in the yard

Gemma LOVES her Grandpa Winsor. So much in fact that she helped him with the yard work.

2 months

After all he's been through, my little mr. is growing into a cute boy. He eats A LOT and loves to be held. He weighs 12 lbs. and is 23 in. long and his cardiologist is pleased with his progress. There isn't a set date and time just yet but it looks like his next surgery will be right around his 4 month mark. I'm anxious for that day to get here and be done with.

Happy 4th! One of my most favorite holidays and I am so glad I was able to celebrate it in a small American town. The 4th always seems more spectacular in small towns. Sadly my camera crapped out on me for the fireworks but I've got everything else.
